Burkina Faso: Moroccan concessionaire Fenie Brossette’s appeal against Cotradis dismissed
According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, Abidjan’s Court of Cassation recently upheld the conviction of Iveco’s Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire concessionaires in its dispute with Burkinabe mining and industrial transport specialist, Cotradis.

In a lawsuit that revolved around expert reports and second opinions, this new development once again sees the mining and industrial haulier favoured against its former partner, the companies Fenie Brossette Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire. Iveco’s Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire agent, Fenie Brossette, was accused by Burkinabe group Cotradis (Continental de transport et de distribution) of having falsified chassis hardware on an order for 20 trucks, and has had its appeal rejected by the Ivorian courts.
