The Nkontchou brothers behind Enko Capital poach HSBC executive for their Enko Africa Debt Fund
Abdoulaye Karamoko, most recently in charge of HSBC’s trading business in the Africa region, has joined the London office of the firm created by the Nkontchou brotherly duo.

His main objective at Enko Capital Management? Pinpoint the best investments for the Enko Africa Debt Fund (EADF), one of the largest African debt vehicles, which boasts a fund size of $370m. Abdoulaye Karamoko will fulfil his duties as Partner at Enko Capital and as Senior Portfolio Manager of EADF out of London, where he has been based since 2014.
