Leïla Bouamatou joins Amadou Raimi as a Djibouti sovereign fund director
The CEO of Générale de Banque de Mauritanie and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Atlas Mara have been appointed alongside partners from EY and venture capital firm Idinvest (Eurazeo).

On 24 June, a presidential decree signed by Ismail Omar Guelleh formally appointed Leïla Bouamatou, CEO of Mauritanian bank Générale de Banque de Mauritanie (GBM), as an independent director of the new Djibouti sovereign fund, Fonds souverain de Djibouti (FSD), whose creation was enshrined in a law adopted on 29 March.
