Mauricio Alarcon took the reins as head of Nestlé’s Central and West Africa division on 1 September. To mark the occasion, Jeune Afrique Business+ takes the opportunity to present the Swiss giant’s leadership on the continent.

After joining Nestlé in 1999 and filling the role of Managing Director of Nestlé Nigeria since 2016, the Mexican Mauricio Alarcon succeeds the Frenchman of Syrian-Lebanese origin, Rémy Ejel, to lead a region that includes 25 countries from Mauritania to the Central African Republic, nine factories, and a regional base in Accra, Ghana.
