Created by a trio of South African managers, Jan Albert Valk, Patrik Huber and Sakkie van Wijk, Solarise has just been awarded a twofold grant from Energy Access Ventures (EAV). The first part is down to the fact that EAV, the Kenya-based impact fund launched by Schneider Electric in 2015, is co-investor to a maximum of €4m in Solarise’s recently completed fund-raising.
