Billionaire Zahui Zhou’s OPay set to conquer Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal
Chinese businessman Zahui Zhou’s mobile money operator will launch its activities in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal in 2021, according to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources.

Our well-informed sources tell us that services will begin in the first half of next year, with a simultaneous launch in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal. The initial schedule planned for operations to start by the end of this year, but plans had to be revised following the lockdowns and slowdowns brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
