The funding mainly comes from development banks, which granted €32.4 million to Kodeni Solar SASU, the company spearheading the project. More precisely, €12 million came from the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank FMO, €8.1 million from the Access to Energy Fund (a dedicated financial vehicle headed by the FMO), and €12.3 million from the Interact Climate Change Facility (ICCF), which is a facility shared by European development finance institutions (DFIs) to support renewables.
