Simon Paley’s Tradex to inject €9 million into Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea

The Cameroonian trader plans to open five service stations in Bata and Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, the first of which was inaugurated on 18 February 18 and plans six new units in Cameroon.

Tradex Managing Director Simon Paley will open five service stations this year in the two main cities of Equatorial Guinea. Tradex Guinea Ecuatorial, with Cameroonian Georges Bassalang Bolomen at its head, will invest more than CFA F 2 billion (€3 million) and create 80 direct jobs. The first station in Malabo—3 000 m2—cost CFA F 800 million (€1.2 million) was built by the Equatorial Guinean company Alaramin Contracting and already employs 14 people.
