Algeria blocks Greek Energean in Reggane concession
The Algerian authorities are complicating the divestiture by the Italian company Edison S.p.A of its stake in the natural gas concession, from which it wants to withdraw Edison E&P.

The group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, decided to withdraw in July 2019 after reaching an agreement to sell its Edison E&P subsidiary to the Greek company Energean Plc. Energean manages exploration and production interests in six countries, including Algeria and Egypt.
