In 2020, CDC reopened its office in Lagos, under Benson Adenuga, a former manager of Arthur Andersen. He spent time with the management team of private equity firm Actis and seven years as a senior investment officer at IFC before taking over CDC’s activities in Nigeria at the end of 2019. Lagos is the fourth office formally opened by the group and will operate as the centre for West African investments.
