Total’s Ugandan Tilenga project is close to finalisation. Jeune Afrique Business + sources within the oil giant’s exploration-production department assured us that “this must take place in the coming days or weeks”.

The major project will require an investment of more than $10 billion for the French group. Currently led in sub-Saharan Africa by Nicolas Terraz and in Uganda by Pierre Jessua, it has emphasised the environmental and social aspects of the project.
