CMA CGM separates from NileDutch on Africa and South America routes
According to Jeune Afrique Business + sources, on 23 March, cooperation between shipowners dating back to 2015 will end in May when the transatlantic partnership between CMA CGM and the Dutch NileDutch ends. The latter has been bought by the German Hapag-Lloyd.

The reason for the separation is not officially known, but the drop in volumes, linked to the impact of the pandemic in Brazil, and the disappearance of NileDutch as an independent shipowner have played a significant role.
