Jeune Afrique Business+ spoke with Arnaud Floris, Regional Manager for West, Central, and North Africa and the coordinator of the African offices of Bpifrance). He spoke of the expansion of the institution and its strategy, which remained unchanged during the pandemic.

In Africa, Bpifrance, heir to the Public Investment Bank created from the merger of Oseo, Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) and FSI in 2013, chose to relocate to Abidjan in 2017. An East African office was opened last October, in Nairobi, and two other sites are being created this year: Casablanca will take charge of North Africa while Dakar will strengthen the West African presence later in the year.
