Healthtech Waspito seeks $4 million to enter Nigeria and Gabon with the help of Orange

Founded in April 2020, Cameroonian Jean Lobe Lobe’s start-up has quickly found an audience in the context of the health crisis. Registered in Limbe and based in Douala, the healthtech start-up, Waspito, is an information and networking platform between patients and practitioners. Lobe’s dream is for it to become the leading social network for preventive medicine on the continent.

To do so, Waspito CEO and founder Jean Lobe Lobe, former head of human resources at British American Tobacco (BAT) for West Africa, plans to raise $4 million from venture capitalists.
