Mossadeck Bally awaits funding from BOAD and Coris Bank to reopen Azalai Indépendance Hotel
According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the head of the pan-African hotel group is working hard to reopen the Azalai Indépendance Hotel by the last quarter of the year. The next edition of the Pan-African Film Festival of Ouagadougou (Fespaco) is in sight.

“We are doing everything to reopen for Fespaco [scheduled to start on 16 October 2021] if the disbursements of loans contracted with the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and Coris Bank International follow,” said a source close to the hotel group founded and directed by Mossadeck Bally. “The work is progressing well, and at the current rate, we will be able to restart for the Fespaco.”
