The rehabilitation contract covers the 622 km Kinshasa/N’djili – Batshamba section.

The RN1 is the backbone and central structural axis of the road transport system in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It is also a community road of great importance for Central Africa. The African Development Bank (ADB) is financing the project.
