Okan Partners helps Filatex-Green Bird’s OrgaEarth secure loan from MCB

Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) will support OrgaEarth, the joint venture set up by the Malagasy Filatex Group and Green Bird (La Réunion), to develop the high-quality prickly cactus oil industry in southern Madagascar. The bank is granting a bridging loan to the entity, which will enable it to refinance a long-term multi-currency loan and thus continue its development. The amount of the loan has not been disclosed.
