Hotels: Erwin Jager’s Barrows Hotels considers SPAC and expansion in Africa
The financial advisory firm announced it is considering the formation of a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) to list on Nasdaq in the New York market to fulfil its ambitions, particularly in Africa.

According to Africa Business+ sources close to the management of Barrows Hotels, the continent is expected to account for three to four deals over the next six months. No country has been named at this stage, but we have learned that two offices will open on the continent before the end of the year, in Ghana and South Africa.
