Enel to sell shares in five South African wind power plants
The divestment will reduce the installed capacity in the country to 522 MW and may trigger an early repayment clause on a €682 million credit line.

The five power plants concerned – with a combined capacity of 700 MW – are linked to the “fourth round of tenders” of the South African authorities and were awarded in April 2015 to consortia in which two local subsidiaries of Enel Green Power SpA (EGP) are invested.
