Tunisia: Arab League fund pumps €28 million into saving Siphat laboratory
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AEDF), whose members are the countries of the Arab League, is preparing to pay 90 million dinars (€28 million) to the Tunisian public pharmaceutical laboratory Siphat.

The first payment will be made in the next few days. The sum, which is more than the company’s annual turnover, will be used to purchase raw materials (20 million dinars), modernise the production chain (30 million dinars) and enter the biotech sector (40 million dinars).
