Afrikrea rebrands as Anka and raises $6.2 million from I&P and others
Afrikrea, the e-commerce website dedicated to African fashion, arts and crafts, is rebranding and revamping its model, and has raised more than €6 million to do so.

Founded in 2016 by Moulaye Tabouré, Abdoul Kadry Diallo and Luc Perussault Diallo, Afrikrea is about to rebrand as Anka -–”bear” in Bambara – and raised $6.2 million. After the $1 million raised in 2020, the new round brings the total funds raised by the company to $8.1 million since 2016.
