Russia’s Yandex on the offensive in Africa opens new base in Abidjan
Following the recent purchase of Uber’s stakes in various companies, the Russian group aims for $1 billion in revenues on its African markets.

The Russian giant Yandex decided to create a subsidiary in Abidjan on 11 February to serve as a hub for West Africa, covering countries such as Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Senegal.
