Casino accelerates deployment in Cameroon
Faced with the arrival of its competitor CFAO in the country’s capital, the Casino Group will open franchises of its Bao brand in two other Cameroonian cities this year. Other countries on the continent and the Gulf are also in its sights.

“Bao Compact stores will open in the next few months in Limbé and Nkongsamba as franchises, while we will open a shop in the Bonamoussadi district of Douala,” Laurent Bugeau, general director, 3C Cameroon, Casino Group‘s local subsidiary, told Afrique Business+.
