Seacom to invest in Tanzania, seeks opportunities in DR Congo
The cable company’s strategy is to expand into urban fibre networks by buying up infrastructure in various countries on the continent.

“We had plans for Kenya and Uganda. We are now thinking about Tanzania for the third or fourth half of the year. Rwanda and DRC will come next year,” Tejpal Bedi, Seacom’s managing director for East Africa, told Africa Business+.
