Mitsui increases its position in Morocco’s Zalar Holding
The investment will consolidate the establishment of the Moroccan poultry leader and encourage its development in Morocco and West Africa.

The Japanese conglomerate headed by Kenichi Hori took a stake in Zalar Holding in 2018 and is strengthening its position as the second-largest shareholder alongside the Chaouni family, the group’s founder and majority shareholder, by investing $41 million, Africa Business+ has learned.
