FT Partners and DaHui Lawyers assist Dare Okoudjou’s MFS Africa in GTP acquisition

The US fintech-focused investment bank and the Chinese law firm are supporting the pan-African digital and cross-border payments company in this $34 million transaction, which will be settled in cash and MFS Africa shares.

At the helm of the deal is Max Bernard, a London-based director at FT Partners for the past four years. Bernard started at Greenhill & Co before spending four years at the IFC, the financial arm of the World Bank Group, as a specialist in fintech investments. He then worked at Arma Partners and GP Bullhound consulting firms before joining FT Partners.
