Abidjan: Alassane Ouattara’s plan shakes up the business model of Félix-Houphouët Boigny Airport

The Côte d’Ivoire state is working on a complete overhaul of the concession agreements of the operators working at the Ivorian economic capital international airport. The aim is to diversify Air Côte d’Ivoire’s sources of revenue.

According to Africa Business+ sources, as part of the Air Côte d’Ivoire Competitiveness Plan (P-com) validated by Head of State Alassane Ouattara, all service providers present at the airport will now be obliged to cede part of their capital to the national airline.
