Deliberations suspended in Associated Energy case against Egypt
At the heart of the case is the aviation fuel provider’s decision to summon two Egyptian parties under the Hague Convention on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters.

The case has been before the Southern District Court in Miami, Florida, since last June and the court has asked the plaintiff, Associated Energy Group (AEG), to submit a report at 60-day intervals on the progress of the service procedure concerning the Egyptian State and Air Force.
