Orange Côte d’Ivoire acquires minority interest in West African fintech Green-Pay

Pending its listing on the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) in Abidjan before the end of this year, the Ivorian subsidiary of the French telecom operator has taken a minority stake in the West African startup Green-Pay.

The operation details were not disclosed, and it is not known exactly how much of the capital of the entity specialising in electronic payments for merchants and mobile money is concerned.
