Who is behind AG Ratings, the third-largest rating agency in Francophone Africa?
Having worked for Meridiam and KPMG, Burkinabe financier Roland Yago tentatively launched AG Ratings, a new financial rating agency based in Ouagadougou, in 2021. He has since surrounded himself with prominent figures from the world of finance and experienced bankers to form his board.

Justin Damo Barro, former acting governor of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), is a member of the Standards and Methods Committee of AG Ratings, of which Roland Yago is chairman. He was previously the African representative of 23 countries in the Islamic Development Bank.
