M Auto signs $5 million carbon financing with Aera
M Auto Electric Mobility, an electric motorbike and tricycle manufacturer and fleet operator led by Shegun Adjadi Bakari (an ATIF partner), entered a three-year carbon credit transaction to reduce emissions generated by its electric vehicle deployment in Africa.

M Auto Electric Mobility signed this forward sale on the voluntary carbon market for an estimated $ 5 million with Aera Group, an African carbon credit trader based in Paris. The latter company was co-founded by Fabrice Le Saché (vice-president of the Medef) and current chairman. The carbon credits are then resold to the Swiss foundation myclimate, led by Stephen Neff.
