The Mastercard Foundation team behind new $200 million Africa fund
Ghanaian Samuel Akyianu has been appointed managing director of the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund (MFAGF). This new impact fund for African investment vehicles targets early-stage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and women entrepreneurs in particular.

The vision of the $200 million fund is being implemented by a consortium of partners, including Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners (ESP), Genesis Analytics and Criterion Institute.
