Quona Capital will invest up to $83m in Africa. The fintech fund targets embedded finance in particular and has chosen to turn away from the B2C segment for its third fund.

“We will proceed in the same way as with our previous vehicles: 25% of Fund III will be allocated to Africa and the MENA zone,” Monica Brand Engel, co-founder and managing partner of Quona Capital, told Africa Business+.
