TLG Capital and UGFS target €39m in Tunisia for first North African fund

The Empower Fund, launched by the Tunisian Caisse des dépôts, has completed its first closing.

“The total size of the fund should be D100 million, and we have just completed the first closing at around 50% of that amount,” Mohamed Salah Frad, managing director of United Gulf Financial Services North Africa (UGFS), told Africa Business+. “But we believe we can ultimately raise 30% more.”
