Djibouti: Final financial overhaul before launch of the wind power plant chaired by Aboubaker Omar Hadi
The shareholders of Red Sea Power – the company behind Djibouti’s first renewable energy project – are refinancing the deal ahead of the infrastructure’s launch, scheduled for the first half of this year.

According to Africa Business+ sources, the Ghoubet wind farm, developed by Red Sea Power, and chaired by the director of the Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority, Aboubaker Omar Hadi, is a few weeks away from launching its operations. This is scheduled for March or April.
