IFC $110 million fifth investment for South Africa’s Growthpoint Properties
The World Bank subsidiary has financed this real estate fund four times since 2016 and is expected to subscribe to R2 billion “green” labelled bond issues within the next 12 months.

Growthpoint Properties is the largest real estate investment trust listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). The group, headed by Norbert Sasse, will use tailor-made financing from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to pursue its developments, particularly in low-impact buildings in South Africa.
