The parastatal industrial group Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), selected in the first tender by the partners of the Djermaya Solar Park, 30 km north of N’Djamena, has given up the management of the investment. BHEL was supposed to lead the project on a classic EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) basis. According to Africa Business+ sources, it will be replaced by the Egyptian company El Sewedy.
