The tender for the rehabilitation and modernisation of Kavumu Airport, serving Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu in eastern DRC, closed on 3 May.

According to Africa Business+ sources, several bids were received by the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Development. They were opened on the afternoon of 3 May and are being analysed by Marc Ekila Likombio‘s teams to present the results within two weeks.
