Mazars Sénégal and Deloitte, advisers to Coris and Vista on purchase of Soc Gen subsidiaries in Mauritania, Chad, Congo and Equatorial Guinea

Idrissa Nassa, the head of Coris Bank International, intends to continue with other acquisitions in the wake of the Soc Gen transactions. He is however not interested in Union Internationale de Banques, the Tunisian subsidiary of Société Générale (52.34%), where the French group has also launched a “strategic review” and a non-exclusive discussion process.

Meanwhile, Simon Tiemtore, the Burkinabe head of Vista Bank (Lilium Capital), has yet to complete his takeover of Oragroup, announced six months ago (Africa Business+, 18 October 2022).
