Ruth Zaipuna’s NMB Bank wins IFC backing for Tanzania’s first sustainability bond
The bond, first listed on 25 September, totals $400 million and is denominated in US dollars and shillings. The IFC was also a key backer of the almost simultaneous green bond issue in Tanzania by rival bank CRDB.
