Mota Engil and Besix win the Mozambique LNG Mega-Terminal

In October the two construction firms won the call for tenders for the project, now operated by Total, where work is due to start in six months’ time Jeune Afrique Business + has learned.

According to our information, Portuguese construction firm Mota Engil, which has a strong presence in Portuguese-speaking countries, and Belgian company Besix, which has extensive expertise in mega-projects, won the tender in October for the construction of the Mozambique LNG liquefaction and gas export terminal in Cabo Delgado province in the north of the country.
