Off-grid solar power: BBOXX looking at a second country with EDF in Africa
From France, the solar kit specialist in Africa intends to strengthen ties with its historical industrial partners. Jeune Afrique Business+ takes a closer look.

According to our information, BBOXX is in discussions with EDF to deepen their partnership with the energy company on the continent. Thanks to a contract it won in 2017, BBOXX is now the off-grid leader in the country. At the end of 2018, EDF acquired 50% of BBOXX Togo’s shares, thus entering a new market in the region, after Senegal (in partnership with SunCulture), Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, both in association with U.S.-based Off-Grid Electric.
