Madagascar: agreement to be finalised with lenders before the end March for Axian’s Volobe dam (€350 million)
The project company will soon sign a funding principle document in Paris with the French agency Proparco, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) for this key hydroelectric infrastructure.

Spearheaded by the Malagasy group Axian, led by businessman Hassanein Hiridjee via his subsidiary Jovena , the Africa50 fund, the Norwegian developer SN Power, which is a subsidiary of Norfund (a public investment fund for developing countries), and the group Colas (Bouygues), the Volobe hydroelectric dam project is nearly finalised.
