Total Mozambique LNG “temporarily reduces” staff due to several cases of Covid-19

Construction works at the onshore terminal’s huge site was quickly halted following the onset of some of the few reported cases in the country. A minimal presence is maintained onsite, the oil company told Jeune Afrique Business+.

Work on the future Mozambique LNG onshore gas site has been halted since a case of Covid-19 was identified on the construction site, which is located on the Afungi Peninsula in the northern province of Cabo Delgado.
