Togo: 20 bidders pre-qualify for IFC’s Scaling Solar power plant projects (2×30 MW)
Jeune Afrique Business+ had exclusive access to the list drawn up as part of the request for pre-qualification launched last December by Togo’s Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Agency (AT2ER).

The contracts cover the design, financing, construction and operation as independent power producers (IPPs) of two solar photovoltaic plants connected to the national grid. One will be located in Awandjelo, in the Kara region, and the other in Sokodé, in the Centrale region. Both will have a capacity of 30 MW.
