Axa mulls over launching DabaDoc in Cameroon, Gabon, Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal
The insurance company continues to accelerate its forays into the healthcare sector, whether through its new business, Axa One Health, or its subsidiaries in various African countries in partnership with teleservices start-ups, such as Morocco’s DabaDoc.

As reported by Jeune Afrique Business+ last October, Axa One Health, the insurer’s new healthcare venture, started opening its first clinics in Egypt, the pilot country, at the end of 2019, with a budget of €50m. A first Axa Africa Health facility was launched last November in Cairo, while another just opened last week in the capital. By the end of the year, a total of seven to eight clinics will be up and running in Cairo and Alexandria.
