French Development Agency backs the privatisation of public enterprises in Ethiopia

As the Addis Ababa government moves forward with its privatisation programme, the French Development Agency (AFD) is providing support to the Ethiopian agency tasked with overseeing public enterprises to help it gather data on such businesses.

The Public Enterprises Holding and Administration Agency (PEHAA) was established in 2018 and is led by Beyene G. Meskel, ex-state minister of Ethiopia’s Ministry of Public Enterprise.
