AFD appoints BRL Ingénierie, COWI and Seureca (Veolia) to Lake Victoria sanitation project (€70m)

At the beginning of the month, the French development agency signed a cheque for €20m, supplemented by the EIB and the EU, to improve infrastructure in Kisumu (Kenya).

The programme, entitled the Lake Victoria Water & Sanitation Project (LVWATSAN), is in its preparation phase and, according to our sources, AFD has appointed several advisors to support it. French company BRL Ingénierie, based in Nîmes and headed by Jean-François Blanchet, has been selected to draft the water and sanitation network master plan.
