Lakshmi Mittal revives ambitious ArcelorMittal investment plan in Liberia ($800m)

The steel and mining giant is aiming to triple the capacity of its iron mines in the country.

At a cost of $800m, the investment project’s revival is intended to improve the added value of its Yekepa mines, whose exports will shift from simple iron ore to agglomerates.
