American firm CO2Bit reaches agreements with Mali, Gabon and DRC ahead of official launch
The crypto-currency that finances carbon footprint reduction projects is due to begin trading on crypto exchange P2PB2B.io on 28 January.

To boost the value of the currency before its launch, CO2BIT Technologies, based in Orlando, Florida, agreed two months ago with East Shadow Financial Engineering to distribute as many CO2Bit Coin grants as possible across the continent. CO2Bit is based on Ethereum, with 13 CO2Bit equivalent to 1 Ethereum, which was worth $457 on 14 December. The pre-market value of CO2Bit is currently $35.2.
